The commission of IAC has finished a field stage of investigation of accident of helicopter Mi-AMT-1 of airline “Gazpromavia”.
The commission of «Interstate Aviation Committee» has finished a field stage of investigation of accident of helicopter Mi-8AMT-1 RA-22968 of airline
“Gazpromavia” which were having place on July, 22, 2009 in area of settlement Moyceevo of Kotovskiy district, Volgograd area.
During a field stage the commission carries out all necessary complex of works on a place of aviation incident, are made area sketch of incident place,
character and sequence of destruction of helicopter design is analyzed. The helicopter is evacuated for responsible storage in JSC “International airport "Volgograd".
The analysis of flight and engineering documentations, determining preparation of crew and helicopter to flight is carried out. The data of ground and onboard means
of objective control are deciphered, synchronized and analyzed.
By results of all complex of works it is established,
that within 47 minutes flight of helicopter passed normally.
On 48 minute of flight, at height of 110 m and speed 200 km / hour,
there was destruction of blade of steering rotor and there was a strong
jolting of helicopter. Captain has made decision to make emergency landing.
At performance of emergency landing, practically at hovering, at height of
15-10 m there was breaking of steering rotor together with a tail gear box;
the helicopter has come in unguided left-hand rotation. At a landing with rotation
the helicopter has overturned on the right side and goes up in flames.
The collapsed elements of the blade of steering rotor have been found
out on distance of 2300 m from a place of falling of helicopter.
The complete set of blades of the steering rotor and the collapsed fragments
of blades are directed in FSE “13 GNII ÌÎ of Russian Federation” on the basis of
which researches for definition of reason of destruction of blade in flight will be carried out.
The commission continues the work.
